What are people talking about when they say they are in the middle of a launch? I bet you have heard that a few times in the online business world. But maybe you are fairly new to online business and have no idea what they mean. So, I am going to explain it below, at least my take on it, and the way I use it with my clients.
Firstly, I’d like you to remember that at some point in our businesses we all do a launch without realising we do.
Releasing a course, a group program, a 1:1 program, or even a new business into the world in an organised, planned way, with the intention of getting your target audience excited about what you have to offer and ready to buy during a set registration (also known as cart open) window is essentially a launch.
In the online world, when we talk about a launch, it’s usually about selling a course or a group program.
I look at launching as a business growth strategy because it is one of the ways that allows the business owner to increase their sales, meaning to grow their business. A launch usually brings in a large volume of sales over a short period of time, hence some online entrepreneurs only do 1-2 big launches per year.
Launches take focus and organisation. It is important that you allow at least 90 days to plan and execute your launch. If you are doing your first launch, I encourage you to allow a lot longer because you will find yourself creating the assets needed for your launch as well as building and warming up your audience. Then, as you repeat the launch of the same digital product, you will find yourself fine-tuning it and focusing on marketing. All the hard work of creating is done at the beginning and then it gets easier. Or at least it should :).
If launching sounds like a strategy you’d like to employ in your business, I recommend that you get support in order to reduce the amount of time and stress figuring out on your own what to do and when. We all go so much further and so much faster when we get support. That’s why we experience major shifts and growth when we work with coaches and consultants.
When you’re ready for a launch, I invite you to book a complimentary launch strategy consultation with me and get yourself started on the launching journey with ease.
